1997, PayNoFine was created as an internet resource
center
where drivers could sharpen their knowledge about
traffic laws. This site was not started because
someone here wanted to "get even" with the cops.
Nor does PayNoFine promote, condone or advocate
speeding or breaking of any traffic laws. We
believe that everyone should drive in a safe and
prudent manner, however, PayNoFine is also
committed to ensure that all drivers understand an
important process that could greatly affect them
financially.
Furthermore, let us state for the record that this
is NOT a anti-law enforcement web site. We have the
utmost respect for the men and women who
place
their lives on the
line
every time they go on duty. Our "beef" is with
state and local politicians who claim not to raise
taxes but then turn around and raise traffic ticket
fines to a ridiculously high amount. We understand
that people who blatantly break the law should be
punished but taking someone's entire week's
paycheck for a minor traffic infraction is
absurd.
